Redemption: "A new set, a new trip."
Here are all the goodies for the lastest electronica set, entitled "Redemption", mixed by the one and only system.s. I must say, this is the best one yet. Anyone who enjoys and appreciates electronic music, at a level far above the mainstream, should check this out.

Caff: I know "Reign" has been one of my favourite tracks now for months! You know who the track is originally by? It's a collaboration between UNKLE and Ian Brown - former lead singer of the Stone Roses. I didn't realize that until about a month ago.
Fractal00: I know - it's a perfect combination - makes you relax yet want to dance at the same time. :)

Caff: I also love the effects in track 3 ("Free") - I feel like he (system.s) just ripped up the track and turned it into something better!

Can I adopt you!
PS I took a pic with Mark Farina AND Gabriel Dresden this month :P I couldn't believe they came out here in the middle of bumblefreak!

Erzulie: Cool! :) I used to live in DC in the late 90s and we had all the best DJs spinning at our very own Buzz - one of the best raves in the States (the venue of which, Nation, is unfortunately closing down this summer, to build...wait for it...a bloody baseball field - it's the end of an era). In those days DJs like Tall Paul, PVD, Deep Dish, et al. were regulars and/or residents at Buzz. I got to meet Tall Paul, Oakenfold (back when he was really good), Boy George, and some others there. In fact, we used to party there with Saeed and Palash before they were even famous! These were the days before all these guys were really "superstars" - they were famous in our circles but they weren't international "celebrities" the way they are now, so they were accessible. Ah, the good old days! :) And you'd be surprised, "Bumblefreak", USA is usually where the scene resides! Just ask our very own resident hick, Stallion! :)

I demand my copy of this CD! ;oP
Off Topic: Seems like I will not be going to DC to see Digweed on the 23rd of June! I might be there on the 7th of July (Bad Boy Bill and Aphrodite) or the 14th of July for the final party!

I won't be able to make any of them after all. I have to research for my dissertation here, then I want to be in Kuwait by the elections, and then going on a trip for two weeks, then back in Kuwait to finish off dissertation! Oh well. My Buzz memories will last me a lifetime! It's still sad though...but I guess the scene has changed anyway since our days - so in a way our Buzz ended a long time ago. (Trying to make myself feel better.)

Bad Boy Bill - man that brings back memories! Hahaha.

I'm glad you guys like it. 'Redemption' has been taking the second position on vibelebanon's top 10 chart, and 'ECLECTICA 001', another set of mine has been number 1 for the last 6 months.
I think Redemption is gonna be a series of sets as well, meanwhile ECLECTICA 002 is under preparation... ;)
Eclectica 001 can be downloaded here.
I do have some copiess left for both sets, I just need some free time to pass it on.
